That is one of my problems also, students aren’t studying now, so study tips are useless these days. That is why I’m trying to focus more on personal development these days..

“Try to spend time on it everyday”

If you start a big project and dont look forward to spending time on it everyday then maybe you picked the wrong project to start. It should be something you enjoy and may be passionate about. Then you will have no problem spending time on it everyday and making it successful.

I have just started a “big project,” my website, Emerging Tiro.com, one which I hope will last years. Summer is the best time to actually start it and perfect it. It is not always the best time to build up traffic, especially if your target market is students, because it is the summer time after all. That is why I have learned over the summer months and will redesign my blog to align it with my vision and fit within the niche it was intented for. It will be premiered in the beginning of September hopefully with some BIG name successful leaders.

Starting a project over the summer is very important. You also need to have money to pay the bills like Katherine said. Thats why I got a summer job so I can afford to eat during the school year. The Big summer project will hopefully be rewarding in the long run either becoming a business or a great learning experience. Either way it will be a success.

Alright, I will finally start something I’ve been “working on” for months. I will! I got a job (need to pay bills) but have a fair amount of down time with which to get creative.

chill, hang out, fun.. are some of the things that come to mind when most students talk about summer.

I agree, using this time to work on a “big project” definitely has its advantages and will be a good direction towards, enhancing knowledge and laying the foundation for a career.
