SSF recommends
StudySuccessful has experience with things and you want to use that experience right? That is why you need to consider the things we recommend!
- The Thesis Theme for WordPress. StudySuccessful’s design is a customized (but not that much) Thesis theme. Thesis allows you to edit the theme, really easy. Even a design newbie like me could do it, find out what you can do with the Thesis theme!
- HostGator hosting. After one year of hosting with HostGator, I have nothing but good thoughts. When my site was down (for only a couple of minutes because of a mistake I made myself) I started a chatting session with them and they helped me to overcome the problem!
- Audible Audiobooks. There is no question that audible is the best audiobook provider of the world. I’ve spend a couple of posts about audiobooks, so you should be convinced by now!
- BookRenter.com textbooks. Renting textbooks is of course way cheaper than buying textbooks. Do it at my ‘store’ at bookrenter, you will make me earn a couple of bucks and you get cheap rental textbooks! Awesomeness!
- Amazon. For everything you want to buy. Obvious.
- FindTheBest. A unviased, data driven comparison engine which ranks all types of websites in all types of niches!

Thank you for the recommendations,
. I have found a grammatical error (the audiobook recommendation).
“I’ve spend a couple of posts about audiobooks, so you should be convinced by now!”
The above should read: “I’ve written a few ((or) a couple of) posts about audiobooks…”
Thank you for the recommendations,
.

I definitely agree on Hostgator! They’re fantastic – I’ve had a reseller account for almost two years now, ever since I started doing web design in high school. They’ve got pretty much all their bases covered in terms of features, and their support is great.
I’ve considered using Thesis, but I ultimately went with the Habitat theme from Kriesi. Support for that one is great too, so I don’t regret it. What do you think of Thesis?

Thesis is really, really easy to modify, which gives it a great advantage. The thing is with normal wordpress themes, they are just really for blogs, but I like to have static websites on wordpress as well, basicly because it is that easy! And that is exactly the case with Thesis, you can make a nice-looking (static) page with wordpress, where the professionality drips off

Yes, I’ve heard thesis is great for that kind of thing. I’ve also heard it’s a very SEO-optimized theme as well!
I’m currently working with Kriesi’s Display theme for one of my clients, and it actually comes stock with a static home page. It’s pretty awesome so far. Hopefully I’ll be able to get it to do all the things I’ve got planned.
